BROCHURE               SCHEDULE & PRICE

****New Brochure and Price list will be added to this page in November.

The main purpose of having your kids in our program is to give them the opportunity to learn a new language through our multi-cultural program.  They will not only learn a new language but also be part of cooking lessons, art lessons and learn traditional games and songs all in the target language!  Yes all in another language!  Don’t worry!  They will feel so comfortable and eager to participate that they will not even notice how much they are understanding and how many new words and phrases they are going to be learning.  One big combo in one powerful Language Camp!

Celebrating Diversity!  Crossing Borders commonly enrolls students from all over the world as well as many born and raised here in the United States.  This sea of diversity provides a perfect backdrop for children to learn, explore, and appreciate various cultures of the world and richness they impart all while learning a new language!  Imagine the look in your child's eyes when they introduce you to their new friends!

More about our Passport to English Camp:
I encourage you to save your child(ren)'s place ASAP as we know by experience (previous year) that our program is extremely successful.  Last year, we had kids from Russia, China, Venezuela, Mexico, Romania, Holland, Germany, Colombia, Spain, Brazil, Argentina just to name a few of the countries that took part of this amazing experience in Crossing Borders' location.  We had kids as young as 4 year old to teens.  We had students learning from the basic, colors, numbers, shapes and basic communication that had never had had English class in their lifes to very advanced students that have the privilege of being in a bilingual school in their country and coming to Crossing Borders for that extra immersion and mainly to improve their communication skill in an American environment.

Last year we had kids signed up for 2 weeks and came directly from their country to be part of this amazing camp staying with relatives or friends.  We also had kids that stayed in hotels with their relatives for an entire month.  Other kids signed up for as many (2 months) of ESL Camp with the purpose of taking advantage of every single moment to learn from scratch or improve their level of English as they only had the summer to get ready to start the school year in a total English environment.  As you see there are many ways that you can schedule bringing that child in your life to experience the United States of America.

News!

Crossing Borders Welcome Students From All-Over the World!

The Woodlands, TX -- July 2008 – Summer is a time fun and recreation for kids, and for a group of international students it is much more than that. Students from Czech and as far as China have gathered for a unique cultural immersion program in the heart of Woodlands Texas. These children ageing from 4 to 16 have come to Crossing Borders Group's learning center for a taste of Summer Camp and much more. .

Crossing Borders Group, who has specialized in language education in the Houston area, for over half a decade has worked with pre-K children to Professionals. Their staff is fluent in Spanish, Italian, French and Dutch grammar, offering professional and private services. Elvia Taylor, Founder, states on the company's website that "
Crossing Borders was created in order to provide enriched educational programs in order to expose youth and adults to the cultures and languages of the world. "

Staff member and native-Texan Kimberly Sutton, who has lived briefly in Asuncion, Paraguay has already begun to learn new words in Czech. She says she "learns a lot from her students" while teaching them English.

This month Crossing Borders welcomes students from Mexico, Venezuela, and Russia in addition to the ones they have. Their Woodlands location has expanded to make room for more students and future clients. There are programs still available for those interested in seeing what this learning facility has to offer!

=============================================================

Children from different parts of the world are coming to this area to learn English, French and Spanish.

Crossing Borders is an independently-owed language school that provides classes to children and adults located in The Woodlands/Spring.

One student, an 11-year-old girl from Russia, is learning English while she visits her aunt in Spring, TX.  She joins other students from Mexico and Venezuela.

The class learns grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in the mornings and practice conversation in the afternoon by playing American games, and doing art and cooking projects.

American children are taking Spanish or French classes.  Some of their parents speak Spanish or French, and they want their children to learn the family's native language.  Others enroll their children to take advantage of learning a second language.

There are many advantages to learning a second language, like being able to communicate globally, better paying jobs, and a better understanding of the world in general.

The classes are fun, as well as intensive in their subject.  while learning a new language, children meet others from around the world and experience new and different foods and customs.
