ANYA - 4 years olds - Spanish Immersion Program
This special student is now living in Minnesota she wrote this note for the teacher one day before she left to go to Minnesotta.  Mom helped of course.  Ms. Maria was very sad to let Anya go.

Thank you Anya and Mom for letting us share our life with you.  We all miss you so so much!  Good luck!  Elvia Taylor, Executive Director

"I am grateful that Crossing Borders has worked so hard to provide a Spanish Immersion program for preschool children!  Ms. Maria C. Rodriguez has kept our children entertained and interested in learning Spanish.  Crafts and academic activities are performed daily and the children enjoy the holiday parties.  The small classroom environment is conducive for learning and socializing.  It really is a joy hearing the children singing in Spanish' saying their colors, numbers, shapes, and recognizing when I misuse a Spanish term myself!  Studies have shown that this foundation will serve them well."

"My daughter Anya has been going to Spanish Immersion Preschool for over a year now and she loves it!  She has a terrific teacher, Ms. Maria C. Rodriguez, that Anya has bonded with from the very first day.  Not only does Anya understand and communicates in Spanish now, she is also learning how to write letters and words in Spanish.  Anya enjoys cooking class very much and she is able to help make dishes from Mexico or p arts of South America.  She absolutely loves to go to her preschool, and adores Ms. Maria, and has made great group of friends that she always talks about.

 Dear Elvia:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the staff at Crossing Borders for doing such a fine job with our son Miguel.  He has enjoyed coming to class over the summer and we can see how much progress he has made with his Spanish.  We are a bilingual family and speak to him in Spanish, but needed some help with getting him to feel more comfortable speaking it.

I would also like to take this moment to commend Ms. Paty.  You have no idea how much she has helped Miguel in such a short period of time!  Her charisma and kindness has really touched our son's heart.  He was very sad this morning when he found out she was not there.  I have spoken to a couple of other parents that have also expressed their satisfaction with her.

Respectfully,
Dane & Paola Hall

"
Commitment, personal attention, and expertise.  That is Crossing Borders Group.  I have been a student for 2 years.  I have some experience in the Spanish language, both from my heritage and through schooling, but it was not enough.  I needed specific attention to grammar, reading, comprehension, and speaking for the growth of my business.  Whether you have some knowledge of a foreign language, or come in completely unfamiliar, you will learn that language and also the culture.  The two are interwoven.  Crossing Border takes you on a journey to become bi-lingual and bi-cultural, step by step.  They challenge you as well as pace the program to your own personal needs.  I recommend Crossing Borders Group to anyone desiring to learn a new language and culture."

'I'm getting my money's worth.  I'm progressing at a good pace.  Learning Spanish definitely benefits me; it impresses my customers in Central and South America that I am taking the time out to learn their language."

"Accent Reduction really helps my self-confidence when I speak.  It makes me pay attention to my speech and my presentation of the English language.  Now I understand why some of my colleagues ask me to repeat myself.  Plus, I am learning new words that I never knew
before!"

"First and foremost, Crossing Borders has the resources and structure to help you.  They are currently serving their clients Tenaris (who recently acquired Hydril), Halliburton, Chicago Bridge & Iron and Continental Airlines outside of Texas.  Essentially, what they do is consulting with organization, recruit top free-lance language instructors in a particular market, train them on their methodologies, and coordinate and manage services.  These language instructors are on their  payroll and all the curriculum content, customer satisfaction is manged by Crossing Borders.
As I mentioned, our execs have been very pleased with their work and I consider their approach superior to the more traditional methodologies found at Berlitz and other such schools.  Elvia Taylor, the director, is very open to providing you with additional detail.  As you consider/compare other resources, here are a few details about Crossing Borders' methodology that I believe sets them apart:
They do not just focus on language alone but also incorporate a strong cultural component.
-  Content is real-life/situational based.  The materials they use are some of the best in the market.
-  Strong focus on business language vs.
other schools' approach that focuses on domestic type language.
-  Business coach approach where instructor helps students with real-life emails and/or prepares them for a visit abroad, a presentation, and/or speech."
