Dr. Robert Rice, English Teacher
With prestigious degrees from Cornell University in New York and New York Medical College, Dr. Rice brings a unique perspective to Crossing Borders. Throughout his career, Dr. Rice has worked in the fields of medicine, nursing, optometry, chiropractic and osteopathy. Dr. Rice has spent time as an educator, researcher, and academic administrator.
One of the highlights of his career has been to work for NASA. With a Ph.D. in Anatomy, Dr. Rice used his expertise to create simulations of astronauts. These demonstrations were used to design, train and evaluate astronauts' specific missions in space.
Throughout his career, Bob has derived the greatest satisfaction from teaching, sharing knowledge, stimulating minds, and guiding career and personal ambitions.
Dr. Rice is married and has five children and five grandchildren with his wife, Linda. Dr. and Mrs. Rice cherish their time with their kids and grandkids. Dr. Rice encourages all of his students in the great adventure of learning English.
