Instructor's Certification – Enrichment Programs/ Spanish

For the very first time, Crossing Borders Group, is now offering the opportunity for people like you to learn Crossing Borders Group methods and strategies that will be soon implemented everywhere in the world.

Crossing Borders Group provides many opportunities to learn how to teach our classes. Aspiring first-time instructors are welcome to begin their teaching journey with the Crossing Borders Group program.

Kids Enrichment Programs:

•    Spanish Baby (6 months – 17 months)
•    Spanish Mommy and Me (18 months – 3 yrs. old)
•    Spanish Enrichment Program – Alegria (3 – 6  yrs. old)
•    Spanish Enrichment Program – Paso a paso (7-10 yrs. old)

These programs are also offered in English for non-native English speakers.  We are working on our Mandarin and French programs; keep posted.

Spanish Teachers

Spanish teachers provide the key to understanding the United States' second-most spoken language. As the country's Spanish-speaking population grows here in the United States, as well as other countries, Spanish language classes are becoming increasingly important to the general population.  However, it is not easy finding good Spanish teachers because of the lack of qualified teachers.  With Crossing Borders Group you will find it easy to learn how to teach.  We will guide you step by step and support you so that you can provide a excellent service to your customers.

Spanish and English teachers with the proper qualifications and a company backing them up with training, marketing, branding, lesson plans, and business guidance will have plenty of job opportunities in the upcoming years.

Spanish and English Teachers Path to Certification

Crossing Borders Group provides a path for individuals to obtain their Spanish and/or English teacher certification, instead of traveling to a facility for face-to-face instruction. The curriculum and classes are conducted completely online, so you can work at your own pace. To be eligible for the program, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or be a graduating senior in the last semester of coursework toward your degree.

Anyone interested in becoming a Crossing Borders Group Instructor must complete a Crossing Borders Group Instructor Training course, must keep their instructor certificate current through a variety of courses offered by the Crossing Borders Group and join the Crossing Borders Instructor Network (CBIN).

As a member you will have access to marketing and ongoing training materials to help keep your classes fresh. At the same time, you will be your own boss and have the freedom to make decisions and set your schedule around your families' needs as well.

Not only will you be provided with the tools you need to get started, members will have the option of listing their classes on the Crossing Borders Group website for higher visibility and increased enrollment. Members will also receive product discounts and will be eligible to participate in many of our affiliate and cross-promotional programs with our other companies.

How it works:

Step 1

Send application form with fee and résumé video. The fee of $350.00 is non-refundable. We will evaluate your video and let you know if you qualify for further review.

Step 2

If you choose to become certified in teaching enrichment Spanish programs you must pay for certification.  After receiving your payment, Crossing Borders Group will send you your training course materials.  At this time, only the training material and manuals will be sent to you.

Step 3

Once you are comfortable with the training course materials, you will complete a written exam and submit it with an audition video. An outline stating specifications and requirements for the audition will be provided.

We are looking for instructors with the following characteristics:

• a great personality, creative, great interpersonal skills, has an astute business acumen, excels at teaching, is a true grammarian. (A written and oral assessment will be taken.)

All assessments and audition materials must average 90%.

Step 4

Upon successful completion of the exam and audition you will be granted a Crossing Borders Group Instructor Certificate and will be eligible for our membership program.

Instructors will have flexibility in determining the number of classes, class location, and schedule. Crossing Borders will have to authorize your price.  We ask as a courtesy to other instructors that in urban communities you keep a 15 mile radius from other existing instructor locations

Note: As a certified instructor, you must present proof of insurance, a valid tax ID number, clear background check, and CPR/First Aid certification before receiving certification of completion from Crossing Borders Group.

If instructor wants to become certified in more than one language, instructor most provide language assessment in each language that he/she desires to teach.

Membership Fee:

Monthly (1 year commitment) $250 per month per language.
